Roadster

A two-seater sporty open car of with side curtains, rather than roll-up windows. Other terms used to describe roadsters include Spyder and Barchetta.

However, the term 'roadster' is being used increasingly by car manufacturers to describe convertible sports cars, which are not completely open in the traditional sense. Examples include the Chrysler Crossfire, Lotus Elise, Chevrolet Corvette, the Nissan 350Z Roadster and the Porsche Boxster (a name made from the combination of boxer engine and roadster).
