Covering Letter to Recruiter
When writing to a recruiter, start your letter with your mission. Next, state why that recruiter should be interested in you, and close with an invitation to contact you should there be a connection between your skills and their client.
The letter shown below is from a banking candidate, experienced in selling financial services to a selected list of executive recruiters. If the recruiter has an assignment matching the candidate, they will be motivated to call the candidate.
