Resume Basics

Before you start thinking about writing your resume, you first need to understand the purpose of this important document - what it aims to accomplish. A resume is designed to give you an opportunity to highlight your achievements and how they relate to the job you are applying for, and to demonstrate why you should get that job ahead of everybody else.
