Some well-known charities, such as the American Diabetes Association, Humane Society of the United States and habitat for Humanity, have teamed up with credit card issuers to provide charity cards - branded credit cards that donate a small amount of money (usually a percentage of the amount spent on the card in any calendar month). Often the charity will receive a donation from the card issuer when you register as well.

This service is provided free-of-charge to the card holder.
