Planning Checklists

The way to make sure the move to your new home will go as smoothly and painlessly as possible, is to plan well in advance, and make sure that you're totally organized, knowing exactly what you have to do and when you have to do it.

To help you out, we've put together a number of checklists, detailing what you have to do in the weeks and days leading up to your move. These checklists relate simply to the task of moving you and your possessions from one home to another - they don't include the other activities involved in the buying or selling process.

To help you prepare for your move, the jobs you'll need to carry out before you move, and on moving day itself have been divided into the timeframes shown below.
